In this project, sponge theory is applied to design, and through the combination of artificial reinforcement systems and natural ecosystems, the sponge facilities above ground and storage projects underground are implemented to effectively reduce the pollution of rainwater runoff, restore the benign hydrological cycle of the city, and reduce the damage to the natural balance of hydrology.
The storage tank has a capacity of nearly 130000 m3. The partition design within the tank includes a total of 33 storage corridors, with each corridor length and flushing length exceeding 100m. This project utilizes a vacuum flushing system to flush and clean the floor of the storage tank, to keep its long-term operation.
