On May 30th, the "2023 Zhongguancun Forum: Zhongguancun Technology Trading Conference - International Sponge City Development Conference" hosted by the Zhongguancun Green Smart Sponge City Ecological Home Industry Alliance was successfully held in the conference hall of the International Conference Center of Zhongguancun Software Park in Beijing.
At the meeting, Zhu Longlong, Chairman of Guhong (Shanghai) Environmental Protection Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd., shared "The Enlightenment and Reference of New German Rainwater Treatment Regulations and Technologies on Sponge Cities in China". First, he summarized the current situation, operation situation, and future development direction of Germany's drainage system: Germany started from solving the pollution caused by combined flow overflow, gradually promoted to separate flow system, and built many types of rainwater tanks. However, in recent years, the philosophical thinking of water management has changed, and there has been an increasing reflection on modern urban rainwater collection methods; Urban drainage must collaborate with urban, transportation, and green space planning across multiple fields simultaneously, seeking new ways. Secondly, he also introduced the new regulations and technologies for rainwater treatment in Germany, that is, Germany's current emphasis on the operation and maintenance of drainage networks and the treatment of overflow rainwater; Finally, Mr. Zhu compared the development models of drainage systems between China and Germany, and analyze and explore the conditions for introducing the new concept of German rainwater and flood management into China, as well as the cases that have already been implemented.
