From 2017 to 2020
This project is a water system management and comprehensive water environment improvement project for all rivers within the administrative divisions of Gulou District and Taijiang District in Fuzhou City. The renovation involves 28 river channels, as well as Zuohai and Xihu area, with a total length of about 52km. More than 100 new intercepting wells have been built. In the future, intelligent interception upgrade packages will be added to achieve 4G network intelligent water management.
This project will lay sewage pipes along the river to intercept pollution at all end outlets. In the interception well, a hydraulic flow limiting gate is installed in front of the sewage pipe to control the inflow of sewage and initial rainwater in the dry season; a hydraulic gate or adjustable weir is Installed in front of the overflow pipes to control the overflow during the rainy season and prevent high water levels from flowing back into the drainage network.
